More than 25 years of experience in communications, community relations, technology and overall problem-solving makes Ginny an excellent addition to the LRC team. Starting out her career in a corporate environment, Ginny joined the destination marketing world in 1996 where she has made invaluable and award-winning contributions in marketing and communications initiatives and project management. Ginny possesses a creative and analytical mind—a rare find and ideal for understanding the role of destination marketers while designing and implementing systems that benefit both LRC and our clients.

In her role at LRC, Ginny directs and oversees all aspects of client reporting, from daily account activities to published results and relative statistics. Reporting is vital to the measurement and ongoing success of a PR and media relations program of work. Ginny has streamlined the system so that every pitch, media lead, press release and media visit are tracked and researched for resulting articles. Ginny’s thoroughness, excellent skills in marketing, IT and communications make her the perfect match for this gargantuan task. In addition to tools utilized for research on media outlets circulation, readership, unique monthly visitors and social media numbers, Ginny creates custom alerts and searches within Meltwater, the media intelligence company to which LRC subscribes. After analyzing all the results for clients, Ginny sends a detailed communication to the client.

LRC benefits from Ginny’s years as the VP of Operations & Technology Marketing for the Macon-Bibb County CVB, where she was lead on the project for revitalizing the former Trailways Bus Station into a $2.9 million downtown visitor center and marketing offices. Writing RFPs and RFQs, negotiating and reviewing contracts, preparing and maintaining a line item budget to manage expenses, and grant writing were all part of the project.

Beyond this impressive skill set, Ginny is also adept at producing newsletters and other publications, including writing, editing, researching and organizing the logistics associated with producing communication materials.

Ginny has received numerous accolades for her tremendous contributions to the industry, including the Creative Marketing Excellence Award at the 2009 Georgia Governor’s Conference on Tourism and the Excellence in Rehabilitation Award from The Georgia Trust.
